Established as a non-profit in 2019, the foundation aims  to promote financial inclusion, social development, women’s empowerment, digital ecosystems, and farmer welfare through a network of “Bank Mitras” (bank correspondents).

Mitr Sewa Foundation, with its commercial counterpart, is a fast‑scaling hybrid model merging social impact (especially financial literacy, empowerment, agriculture support) and for‑profit distribution (BC network, e‑commerce, insurance, logistics). By leveraging a women‑driven, digitally integrated BC network, they aim to bridge rural–urban divides and foster financial inclusion at scale.
